1)The Update Process
Once installed and activated (and provided the updater is running on a PC that is running and logged in), NEM-Review will automatically update your central NEM-Review database each morning with yesterday’s key trading data.
The data set you receive will differ depending on whether you are running the Bronze or Silver Model – further description of the data is also provided here.

Step 1- Open NEM-Review Updater You need to ensure that you have opened an Updater copy, as the Query Module will not provide for updates! |

Step 2- Open the Options Menu |
|
|
Step 3- Tick the option to allow automated updates, and set the update time. |
|
|
Step 4- ensure this PC is turned on, and logged in, each day at the time you select! |
On most occasions, this will be all you need to do.
However, it may be that there may be times when you want to (or need to) run the update process manually.

Step 1- Open the Options menu |

Step 2- The update window will load – just click “Next” to proceed. DO NOT adjust the date shown in this window unless we ask you to. |

Step 3- Click Next again to download the daily updated files that have been located on one of our data servers. |
|
|
Step 4- Click “Next” to process these update files (i.e. add them to your NEM-Review database). |

|
Step 5- Click “Finish” to close this window and resume your data analysis. |

2) New Database Download
After a manual update or the first time you run NEM-Review after an install, NEM-Review may inform you that a new database is available for download. This normally means that a change has been made to the database concerning database structure, or added query functionality, and may preempt a new version release. Simple click the download button to download the new database, NEM-Review will automatically begin using this new database once it has been downloaded. This database may not have the most recent data however, it may be necessary to update to the most recent data using the manual update function described above.
