Database Permissions

The NEM-Review updater requires permissions to write to the NEM-Review database. In most instances, the NEM-Review updater must be run as a Power User or Administrator.

All users (Update and Query modules) must have permission to access the folder in which the NEM-Review database resides.

Note that prior to v5, any user running NEM-Review will encounter errors on startup if they are a Restricted User. To solve these issues, the user must be made a member of the Power User group.

Registry Permissions

Both the Update and Query Models require read/write permissions to the registry. To modify registry settings:

• Click Start>Run and enter "regedit"
• Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/global-roam/NEM-Review
• Right click this entry and select 'Permissions'
• Select the user(s) that will be using NEM-Review
• Check the appropriate box to Allow Full Control
