Deactivating your Licence
You can deactivate your licence at any time. Deactivating a licence for NEM-Review will make the NEM-Review program which was activated using this licence unusable, until it has been activated with a new licence. There are two different ways to deactivate a licence.
1) Deactivate through NEM-Review
Your licence can be deactivated through NEM-Review, at any time, and is the easiest and recommended option. To deactivate your licence through NEM-Review, follow these steps:
Step 1 - Open the Options Menu With the program open, go to Tools -> Options |
Step 2 - Select the Managing My Licence Tab Select the Managing My Licence Tab, this tab provides you with a list of options in regard to the licence this copy of NEM-Review is using. |
Step 3 - Select the Deactivate My Licence Link Selecting this link will pop up a small dialog box asking you to confirm your decision. Selecting "Yes" will deactivate you licence and shutdown NEM-Review. |
Step 4 - Licence Deactivated Your Licence has been deactivated, and NEM-Review will shut down. Next time you run NEM-Review on this PC, it will prompt you to activate it with a licence. |
2) Deactivate through Global-Roams Secure Site
Your licence can also be deactivated through our secure site. This allows you to deactive licences that may not have been deactivated properly because a computer was re-formatted, or other issue, which prevents deactivation through the NEM-Review program itself. The Steps below will deactivate a licence through our licence management system.
Step 1 - Enter the Secure Site Enter the secure site using your gr-ID infomation |
Step 2 - Go to the My Licences Section Click the My Licences button to view all licences you currently hold. Selecting a licence will display general infomation about that licence, such as the product it runs, the date of expiry, and the date of activation. |
Step 3 - De-activate the Licence Select the licence you wish to deactivate and click the De-Activate button. You will notice the licence will now display "Not Activated" in the Activation field. |
If you are deactivating an Updater Licence, please check that at lease one other Updater licence is still in use. NEM-Review instances running using Query Licences rely on a NEM-Review running an Updater Licence to provide them with daily updates. Once a licence has been deactivated, it may be used again to activate another instance of NEM-Review.
